Over recent days Event has been adapting to the developing spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus…

The welfare of our clients, collaborators and staff is paramount, and although we’ve made some adjustments, we’ve found ourselves well prepared to keep working without putting ourselves or others at undue risk.

As a business that works on projects across the world, remote working has been essential for us for many years. We’re set up to be mobile. We don’t therefore anticipate any disruption to our studio output. Our in-house project management unit is proactively evaluating all our work and addressing potential issues as they arise.

We can access our email, telephones and videoconferencing on all our normal channels. Please contact us just as you would usually. While many of our staff will now be working from home, our creative teams already use laptops as standard. Our most powerful workstations have virtual desktops so we can access their capabilities from anywhere. Lastly, our secure VPN and cloud servers give us access to our files no matter where we are.

However, we’ve made some changes so we can balance social distancing with keeping our collaborative creative energy flowing:

We’re reducing presence in our London studio to a skeleton staff until instructed otherwise. In Oman, our team is moving to a ‘work from home’ basis in line with Omani Government guidelines and in Dublin our office is now closed.

We’d like to send everyone our best wishes and hope to be out to see you again soon. As creators of social spaces where people go for enriching and fulfilling experiences, we’ll keep sharing our ideas and inspirations on our social media channels. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
