Honouring Irish Sportsmen
The Gaelic Athletic Association Museum at Dublin’s Croke Park stadium is now home to a new Hall of Fame designed by Event.
Two towering figures of Gaelic Athletics – footballer Tony McTague and hurler Eamon Cregan – were inducted into the Hall of Fame on its opening. 30 players from Ireland’s Teams of the Millennium were also included in the exhibit.
The Hall of Fame is part of a wider Event-led refurbishment of the Museum, phase one opened in 2010 and phase two opened its doors in March. Visitors can try their hands (and feet!) at hurling and Gaelic football as well as test out their fitness and reaction times.
