Katie Skinner

Katie is a content designer with a strong foundation in museum interpretation. She began her career in Aotearoa New Zealand at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum before joining Museum Studio in 2024. With experience as an in-house interpretive planner, she understands museum teams, collections, and processes, helping institutions craft engaging visitor experiences.

Passionate about inclusive design, Katie has experience collaborating with local and Indigenous communities to ensure their stories are communicated in the design in a culturally sensitive, authentic and accessible way.

Since joining Museum Studio, she has contributed to projects including the National Space Exploration Centre (Ireland) and Coolmore Stud (Ireland).
