Pirates: Fact and Fiction played on the romanticism and drama of pirates by exploring their role in books, theatre and film. The exhibition included original set designs, costumes and clips from Spielberg’s film, Hook. The story also featured an interview with a modern-day pirate working in the Strait of Malacca, while an imaginary pirate, Captain Woods Rogers, led children around the displays, bridging fact and fiction.
