Small Objects - Big Story

Airgead - A Thousand Years of Irish Coins and Currency, National Museum of Ireland

Airgead tells the story of Irish coinage from 950 to 2000, when its opening coincided with the Irish changeover to the Euro. Graphic elements are an integral part to the cased displays, forming the background on which historic coins are mounted as well as enabling visitors to place the collection in historical, social and economic context.
