Men and Weapons
Displays explore the fight for democracy and freedom. Personal possessions, archival material and uniforms provide tangible evidence of the stories being told. Interactive touch screens reveal personal recollections and chart the historic development of weapons and munitions and their impact on warfare.
A spectacular multimedia presentation, Field of Fire, combines archival film, sound and contemporary images to evoke the experience of a 21st-century gunner.
Scope of works
‘"Event did an excellent job satisfying a wide variety of stake holders - The Royal Regiment of Artillery, the Heritage Lottery Fund the museum specialists and lasts but not least, the visiting public.
The project management was faultless. The galleries were delivered on time and budget with a very positive and cheery attitude-at least in the client's hearing!"’
