Giant’s Causeway Visitor Centre

The Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland boasts unique geology, rich ecology and a wealth of cultural heritage. The Visitor Centre interprets this complex natural landscape.

The Giant’s Causeway is in the care of the National Trust of Northern Ireland, at the heart of whose mission is the fostering of links between people and place. This connection is at the heart of the exhibition design approach.

The character of the Causeway unfolds from three perspectives – Geology, Ecology and Myth-making. Whether through first-person interpretation, interactivity or graphic elements, these viewpoints imbue every aspect of the displays.

Hand held PDAs and Destination Cards offer site-wide interpretation. Trails encourage visitors to explore the entire Causeway Coast.
