Loyalty and Courage

The Gurkha Museum

The Gurkha Museum at Winchester tells the moving and unique story 200 years of Gurkha service to the British Crown and its people.

Gurkha graves are spread across the face of the earth in nearly every country in which Britain had fought – silent testament to Gurkha loyalty and courage.

The Brigade of the Gurkhas was one of the first clients to choose Event to design their museum when it moved from Cookham to Winchester.

Specialist film and theatre techniques introduce visitors to these soldiers as men.

Displays place isolated events in historical perspective and offer the public an insight into the extraordinary achievements of the Brigade.
