Opened in March 2023, the Oman Across Ages Museum is a landmark national project that we were proud to be a part of. Beginning in 2014, our team at Event developed the vision – from masterplan through to design – that turned the Sultan’s vision into a reality. Spanning over 9,000 m² of exhibition space, the museum brings Oman’s past, present and future to life through immersive galleries, large-scale media, interactive environments and dramatic architectural design.

Eng. Al Yaqdhan Al Harthi, Director General of the Oman Across Ages Museum, commented:

“Our main target is young people. Their language is technology, so we have given them the history of our country through AV and interactive technology. We have had more than 350,000 visitors within nine months. This is an amazing number when you consider our business plan talked about reaching 200,000 in a year. Our peak was 11,800 visitors in one day.”

Recognised globally, the museum was also named by CNN as one of the world’s five Future Museums, highlighting its innovative approach to storytelling, scale and visitor engagement.
