EPIC faced tough competition from world-famous attractions including the Sagrada Família, The Acropolis of Athens, The Roman Colosseum and Buckingham Palace.

The World Travel Awards are recognised globally as a hallmark of industry excellence, voted for by travel and tourism professionals and consumers around the world.

The EPIC Museum offers a unique and immersive insight into the fascinating story of Irish emigration showing how the Irish influenced and shaped the world. This award showcases how important innovative storytelling is to the modern tourist.

Liz Halpin, Head of Dublin Region, Fáilte Ireland

Commissioned by Neville Isdell and Custom House Quarter Ltd, we were appointed as exhibition designer to realise EPIC, Dublin’s comprehensive account of the Irish Diaspora. It is a dramatic interactive experience showcasing 10 million journeys exploring the roots of 70 million people. EPIC is the first digital-only museum in the world. Its growing collection will be stored in the cloud rather than on shelves or behind glass.

A huge well done to EPIC on their well-deserved win.
