We are proud to announce that we have recently delivered the visitor experience masterplan for the new Science Centre Singapore. Following our masterplan, the Singapore Science Centre have announced to the press that they are set to open in 2027.

We have been working collaboratively with the Science Centre team throughout the year to define the visitor experience within the building. Our masterplan promises to bring together innovative technology and creative storytelling to create immersive learning experiences that inspire and enlighten visitors in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Science Centre Board chief executive Lim Tit Meng said: ‘Our ambition for the new Science Centre is to be a truly rewarding destination for all ages and abilities. The universal design principles of the new building will facilitate equal opportunities for all visitors, regardless of demographic or learning abilities. We have also been experimenting with new programmes and exhibition formats at the current site, taking note of the best practices we can apply to provide enhanced experiences to our audiences. Top of the list is to seek community partnerships to ensure we co-create a place that individuals will not only want to visit, but also leave feeling more curious about science.’

The building, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, will transform Singapore's Jurong Lake Gardens tourist district.

A place that individuals will not only want to visit, but also leave feeling more curious about science.
